A bit more about me ...

I work between Cardiff, UK, and Co. Kerry, Ireland, where my family is based. I grew up in Greater Manchester, UK, and received my BA and my MA a from the University of York, UK and my PhD from University College Cork, Ireland. 

My other job is being a mum to two budding feminists. Our family also has a new feline member called Pandy, who found us and decided to stay.

I enjoy running, hiking, and sea-swimming. But my favourite thing to do is read, especially as part of a reading group with friends and colleagues. I try to organise a few of these each year.
